Renovation - Auckland New Zealand - Completed 2025

This sweet 1940s cottage was in need of some love. The layout had the kitchen and bathroom occupying the centre of the home leaving everything around it feeling disconnected and dark.

We reconfigured the home to function better for the family. The bathroom was relocated to the west to open up the east to the living spaces. The kitchen and dining now connect directly to a large family deck that gets drenched in all day sunshine. The home can expand when they are entertaining and retreat to a cosy fireplace when they are all closed up.

Reimagined and brought back to life as a lovely healthy family home.
